Lego Storage

Lego Storage – Learning in Disguise

by Cheema Beckham

Did you buy Lego bricks for your child and it has created some problems for you? One of the common problems caused by Lego is the bricks storage issue. After buying these magnificent sets for their children, sometimes parents find themselves in a tough situation. They find different pieces of the Lego sets scattered around the house and sometimes you even step on them and break a few pieces or hurt your feet.

I hate that! Ouch!

When you find yourself in such a situation then you must immediately understand that you have bought your child an incomplete Lego kit. Storage is an essential and vital part of playing with Lego bricks. If you don`t store them wellyou will lose some pieces or......

hurt your foot!

If you buy Lego bricks for your child, you should also buy him a box to keep all those pieces. Instead of giving him an old carton or a shoebox, you must buy a proper storage box for him that has compartments in it. Teach your child to store the Legos after playing by their color or by their shape. It will not only keep your kids’ room clean but will also teach them how to organize things.

You can easily lay your hands on readily available storage boxes in Toys `r Us or the Lego shops, (which have drawers in them.)

Your child will surely love them.A Box4blox is also a good method for storing your Lego. It is a specially designed box for Lego bricks, so that your kids do not have to go through the effort of sorting the Legos by size. It has four compartments and each compartment has smaller holes. When you put the bricks on top and shake the box, all the Legos are automatically sorted as per their sizes.

Very convenient!

If you do not have time to visit the market to buy a Lego storage box and you want a quick solution, then you can give a cardboard carton to your child. After playing he can simply throw all the pieces in it and clean up the mess. It is a quick and easy solution and you can easily find a couple of such boxes in your home, so you do not have to spend any money. However, it is better that you teach them how to organize things.

Indeed, Lego storage is also a part of learning with Legos and you should not ignore it.
