Lego Land Windsor, (Berkshire, England)

The second location built was in Windsor, United Kingdom. It was built in 1996 on the grounds of an old safari park in Berkshire. It includes a Duplo Land for young children and many, many other attractions.

Legoland California

The Third Location is in Carlsbad, California. It is near San Diego. It is well worth a visit and there is so much to see and do for kids in California. Like Disneyland all the Lego parks are split in the same way-- into different worlds or areas. All have a mini-land which has Lego models of different famous landmarks from all across our Earth.

Lego contributes to our education with the Mindstorms Centre. It encourages learning through fun. Shouldn`t all learning be this way anyway?

Duplo Garden predictably is for smaller children.

This will be a Legoland Discovery Center. It will feature a 4Dcinema, Lego rides, and displays of Lego that the Lego Lands are famous for.

It will open in March 2012. Phipps Plaza already hosts quite a few children`s stores, so adding a Legoland Discover Center is a good fit.

I also second the beach, we are like you going sometimes over the Christmas break to visit grandparents and the beach is wonderful.. The kids are so acclimated to cold weather, that the beach feels great and they even play in the surf a bit. Our in-laws think we are nuts because it is winter to them.... ;-)"
