Electric Toy Train

Electric toy train, when most people think of them, few people think of Lego unfortunately. Though this is changing I feel.

Lego trains are great though! You can leave them as they are and they are really cute. Or you can weather them to make them look like real trains, much as hard-core train hobbyists do to Lionel or Hornby trains.

It was Christmas Day in 1968. I was five years old. Santa Claus had come I was sure. I had done my best to be a good boy. As good as I could be. I loved toy cars, I loved teddy bears, and I loved trains. What would Santa have brought down our chimney?

It was my first train by Lego!

On Lego Trains

Lego trains look amazing, especially when you see a whole set up of them. I saw a picture of one of the train shows, and it looked amazing. They really are great toys!

Adult fans of Lego have gotten into the train aspect of this hobby and there are many Lego train clubs around the world.

They even have their own magazine called, "Railbricks."
